Categories
Categories are a simple and efficient way to organize your links in kub.sh. With them, you can group related links conveniently, making it easier to manage a large number of URLs.
Categories allow you to assign custom labels to your links. This is useful for separating links by projects, campaigns, themes, or any criteria that suit your organizational needs.
For example, you can categorize links as follows::
- Marketing: Group links related to marketing campaigns.
- Projects: Separate links from different projects or teams.
- Personal: Keep your personal links organized and separate from professional ones.
How to create and assign categories?
-
Create a category:
- In the dashboard, go to the Categories section.
- Click Create Category and choose a name that represents your group of links.
-
Assign a category to a link:
- In the links list, select the desired link.
- Choose the category in the Manage Categories option.
- A link can be assigned to one or more categories depending on your needs.
What happens to links without a category?
Links without a category will still be available in your list. Categories are an optional feature and do not affect the functionality of your links. They are purely for internal organization.
Note: Categories are visible only to you. They do not affect the behavior or appearance of the links for those who access them.
