Archiving Links or Link Trees

The archiving feature allows you to organize your links or Link Trees, keeping them accessible but out of your main view. It’s ideal for when you don’t need a link or Link Tree actively, but still want to preserve them for future reference or use.

What does it mean to archive a link or Link Tree?

Archiving a link or a Link Tree in kub.sh doesn’t delete them, but removes them from your main view. This means that:

  • Archived links: They remain accessible to anyone with the direct link, but won’t show up in your main link list.
  • Archived Link Trees: All the links inside an archived Link Tree are still accessible, but the Link Tree itself will no longer be displayed as part of your active set of Link Trees.

This feature is great for organizing your links, keeping a complete history without overwhelming your workspace interface with items that are no longer relevant.

How to archive a link or Link Tree?

  1. Select the link or Link Tree: In the dashboard, find the link or Link Tree you want to archive.
  2. Click on "Archive": There is an archive option available in the menu of each link or Link Tree.
  3. Confirmation: After archiving, the link or Link Tree will be moved to an archived items section, where you can access them at any time.

Accessibility after archiving

Although archived, the links and Link Trees will continue to work. The only change is that they won’t appear in your active link list, but can still be accessed directly via the link or Link Tree URL.

Important: Archiving links or Link Trees doesn’t alter their data, such as accesses or statistics, and you can reactivate them at any time, bringing them back to your main list.
